El Sapo Horseback Tour - 4 Hours
Morning departure from Copan on horseback up to the surrounding hills to visit
the outlaying site of "Los Sapos" named after the large stone
sculpture of frogs that are found at this site, continue your ride and visit the
only excavated and restored residential area of the Maya "Las Sepulturas."
Aqua Caliente Hot Springs - 5 Hours
One hour drive on a dirt road, through mountainous rural countryside dotted
with small rustic villages and coffee farms. A short hike leads into the natural
path formed by steaming hot waters rushing into cool mountain river or into
artificial pools where you can soak and soothe your body.
Chonco Village Hike - 5 Hours
This is a Maya Village known for its people, pottery and woven mats. On the
way visit two Maya steleas west of the village of Copan, you will follow a fresh
mountain spring that will lead you to a small waterfall where you can
swim.
Butterfly Farm and Orchid Nursery
- 2 Hours
Visit the "Enchanted Wings" butterfly farm located on the outskirts of
Copan. See how the eggs are collected and prepared to produce the larva and
pupae and see how butterflies hatch from these. You will also visit the orchid
nursery where you will find a great variety of orchids collected from all over
the country.
El Rubi Waterfall - 4 Hours
Take a 30 minute ride in the back of a pick up truck to the village of Los
Planos where you start your 30 minute hike through pine covered mountain to the
Rubi Waterfall, trek through the river to reach the waterfall where you can swim
and get under the cascading water. Continue your trek down the river where you
will find other ponds in which you can swim and relax, for your return you will
hike for 45 minutes up pine covered mountain back to your pick up truck.
Coffee Plantation Tour - 3 Hours
A short drive from Copan the Santa Isabel farm offers hands on experience
beginning with the nursery where young coffee plants are grown. Head up the
mountain through the plantation under magnificent trees, observe the harvesting
and processing of the bean until it is packed and ready to ship.

Deposit - Verbal reservations are held for ten days pending $50/person deposit. Deposits become nonrefundable 60 days prior to travel.. Deposits for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year are nonrefundable.
Cancellation - at any time are subject to a $25 handling fee. $50 per person penalty for cancellations or group size reductions within 60 days of travel date. No refunds are made for cancellations made 45 days of travel date. Cancellations within 45 days incur $150 per person penalty. Remaining pre-paid funds can be used as a travel credit for future travel within 1 calendar year. No shows and cancellations within 7 days forfeit all monies and credits.
Refunds - unused portions of land packages are not refundable for any reason including airline delays, cancellations, weather, or acts of God.
