Children at CoCoView

Over the years, CoCoView has developed into an adult resort, known for its peaceful relaxation as well as it’s spectacular diving. While we do accept children of a certain age, we must put the interests of our adult guests first & establish guidelines for children while at CoCoView. As such, we have a minimum age limit of 10yrs old (min. certification age). Children under this age may only stay at or be on CoCoView by special arrangement with the Owners/Management of CoCoView.

DIVING:

Divers, aged 10-15 must be have an adult from their party supervising them, and acting as their dive buddy when diving with CoCoview, either by boat, or on shore. We’re sorry folks, but Divemasters & Boat Captains have a responsibility to the group, and cannot act as any one persons dive buddy, nor can the Boat Captain act as ‘adult supervision’ while parents/guardians are diving.

USE OF FACILITIES:

Children aged 10-14yrs old may use the clubhouse & facilities (Excluding the bar) when under supervision of a parent or guardian, until 8pm.

Children 15yr – 17 yrs may use CoCoView facilities (excluding the bar) until 11pm with minimal parental supervision provided their behavior does not become disruptive.

PLAYA MIGUEL Children using CCV Facilities:

While CoCoView has an age limit of 10 yrs old, we do understand that the Beach Houses & Playa Miguel are privately owned & accept children of all ages.

We don’t wish to stifle anyone’s creativity or energy (we have a couple kids of our own we’re pretty fond of ourselves), however, we are simply not equipped to accommodate the boisterous nature of childhood to the exclusion of our adult guests. Therefore we must ask that children 0-9 Yrs old not be brought onto CoCoView property unless prior special arrangements have been made with CoCoView Owners or Management. Children aged 10-17yr must follow the same guidelines we place on children staying at CoCoView itself.

Children exhibiting, inappropriate, annoying or disruptive behavior

will be asked to leave the facilities.

Any unused portion of the child’s meal or dive package will be refunded.

CoCo View highly encourages you to bring & use water floatation

devices for minor children while on the cay.
